Performance Rehabilitation

3 x 45 minutes each week $150 p/w

  • Weekly Physiotherapy support for your long term injury

  • Initial subjective and objective consultation

  • Individualised macrocycle and rehab programme

  • Unlimited weekly changes to rehabilitation programme

  • Regular injury-specific monitoring and testing using our world class testing systems

  • Access to Lift Culture coaching team

  • 24/7 Gym membership included at Lift Culture

  • Individualised return to run, change of direction and contact programme

  • 24/7 access to your Physiotherapist with a 24 hour response time​

Initial Consultation

45 minutes $135

  • Subjective assessment

  • Objective assessment and diagnosis

  • Individualised treatment and Rehabilitation programme

  • In-gym rehab session

  • Suitable option for those unable to attend our facility on a regular basis​

  • Telehealth option also available - Type ‘telehealth’ in notes when booking

Follow up consultation

45 minutes $110

  • Review of progress

  • Individualised treatment

  • Review and update of rehabilitation programme

ACL RETURN TO PLAY PROCESS

PHASE 1

PRE-OP REHAB PHASE

PHASE 2

POST-OP REHAB PHASE

Aims:

Full knee extension

No effusion

Key exit criteria:

Normal gait pattern

ROM = 0-120º

PHASE 3

LOAD PROGRESSION PHASE

Aims:

Progress strength training

Progress from double leg to single leg activities

Intro to plyometrics

Key exit criteria:

Single leg leg press = 1.5x BW

Single leg squat assessment 

Squat assessment 

PHASE 4

RETURN TO INTENSITY PHASE

Aims:

Return to running

Intro to COD, sports skills and Speed Prep

Key exit criteria:

Drop jump test 

Lateral hop test

Single leg press 2x BW

Knee extensor strength >90% LSI

PHASE 5

RETURN TO PERFORMANCE PHASE

Aims:

Return to modified training

Sports specific aligned running & agility tasks

Key exit criteria:

Single leg hop for distance

Triple hop for distance

Single leg hop for height (RSI) 

SL Drop Jumps (RSI)

About Me

Performance Physiotherapy Team

Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

Tony Tompos

Tony has over 12 years of Physiotherapy experience following his undergraduate studies in Sports Rehabilitation and postgraduate studies in Physiotherapy. Having worked with both amateur and international athletes in professional soccer and rugby union in the UK, Tony has gained extensive expertise in treating a wide range of sports-related injuries. He has a particular interest in ACL rehabilitation and manages a large caseload of post surgical and conservative rehabilitation for ACL injuries. He will use his experience of working in sport to provide evidence-based rehabilitation programmes for knee, shoulder, ankle and soft tissue injuries.
